About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team at Buckland Care. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults to live their lives to the full, wherever they are able.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support service users with daily living tasks, including washing, dressing, and continence care.
  • Encourage participation in activities and community support, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Provide emotional support and stimulation, building strong relationships with service users.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality care and support.

Requirements

  • No formal qualifications required, although a Care Certificate or NVQ 2/3 (or equivalent) is beneficial.
  • A good level of English and excellent communication skills.
  • A warm and friendly personality, with the ability to use initiative and work independently.
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
