About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Delivery of Mechanical Components: As a Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of all machined, fabricated, and formed parts used in our products. This includes the maintenance of existing designs and the creation of new designs from scratch.
  2. Technical Expertise: You will have an excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks, drawing standards, tolerances, materials, manufacturing, and fabrication techniques. Your ability to create designs that are fit for manufacture, assembly, and service is crucial.
  3. Project Management: You will work closely with the NPI team to optimize BOM structures, assembly and service documentation, and design change management.
  4. Leadership and Guidance: As a Mechanical Engineering Manager, you will provide guidance and leadership to Mechanical Design Engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, product design, or a related field, with at least 8+ years of experience in Mechanical engineering, design, and product development.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in Mechanical design, engineering, and testing, with knowledge of related components, tools, and technologies.
  3. Project Management: Experience in project management, including planning, execution, and monitoring design tasks, is essential. Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies is also preferred.
