We are seeking a highly motivated Product Owner to lead the delivery and development of defined elements of System Stability Situational Awareness tools, utilised within the Electricity Control Room.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, own, and execute essential elements of the product roadmap focused on electricity system stability.
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria centered around large data and high-resolution data applications.
- Prioritise and continuously maintain the product backlog to meet the desired outcomes for the Electricity System Operator within budget and timelines.
- Collaborate in an Agile environment, regularly reviewing business needs, refining priorities, milestones, and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Communicate the project roadmap and deliverables effectively to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the Product Manager.
- Ensure user training and necessary business processes are established before launching new products onto the live platform.
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement and Management skills.
- Familiarity with project management techniques.
- Ideal track record of delivering solutions involving high-resolution large data sets.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Some knowledge of Power Network or other Critical National Infrastructure.
- Experience with synchrophasor applications, including delivery, maintenance, and enhancement will be a great advantage.
- Educated to degree level in an Electrical Engineering or min in STEM subject (or equivalent relevant experience).
