Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team at The Talent Movement. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving operational excellence across our field-based engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 8 Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the tools and resources needed to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
  • Develop and implement processes and Continuous Improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery, improve efficiency, and enhance the role of our service engineers.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and their team to ensure seamless communication and support for our customers.
  • Develop training pathways for your team to ensure they meet customer demands and provide opportunities for growth and development.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to drive business growth and improve operational performance.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive basic salary of circa £50,000 (negotiable on experience), company car, annual company bonus, employee discount, life assurance, and annual leave at 25 days plus your birthday and Bank Holidays.

Requirements

  • Strong background in delivering excellent customer service through a field-based engineering team.
  • Sound operational background, with experience in problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing remote teams and driving business growth.
  • Practical mindset, with ability to understand technical information and make informed decisions.
