About the Role
Mace is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our programme delivery efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of our programmes, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of programme managers to deliver programmes across various sectors, including construction, infrastructure, and property.
- Develop and implement programme management strategies to ensure effective delivery, including risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to identify business opportunities and develop proposals to secure new programmes.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure successful programme delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Mace's values, policies, and procedures, including safety, quality, and sustainability.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the programme management landscape, including industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry certifications, such as PRINCE2, Agile, and MSP.
- Contribute to the development of Mace's programme management capabilities, including training and mentoring of programme managers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in programme management, with a track record of delivering complex programmes on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Strong technical understanding of programme management practices, including risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of programme managers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate programme risks.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as PRINCE2, Agile, and MSP.
