GCSE Resit Programme Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our English and Mathematics (ENMA) Department, primarily based at our Wakefield Centre. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the GCSE English and Mathematics (resit) curriculum independently, fostering confidence and skills across various levels.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage English language and Mathematics resit programme and students at the centre
- Ensure compliance with all elements of the Study Programme and condition of funding requirements
- Implement the College quality management system
- Plan, prepare, and teach agreed contact hours to a high standard
- Support the development of resources and improvements within the department
- Manage student expectations through disciplinary procedures
- Contribute to cross-college events and marketing activities
- Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject
- Teaching qualification (Level 5 teaching qualifications accepted)
- Strong knowledge and experience in GCSE English and Maths and preferably entry-level qualifications
- Passion for fostering student success and engagement
