Data Centre M&E Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre M&E Engineer to join our team at PRS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of our data centre facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain all M&E systems within the data centre, including HV electrical isolations and operations.
- Ensure that all specialist sub-contractor visits are conducted in line with approved standard operating procedures.
- Apply a risk-focused maintenance approach and operate plant and systems in data centres/critical environments.
- Ensure all critical client services, computer rooms, data networks, manufacturing, and revenue-earning services meet client requirements.
- Provide emergency response standby, call out, and escalate urgent issues.
- Complete records and logs required to demonstrate delivery of maintenance requirements.
- Control and supervise contractors when required.
- Emergency lighting testing.
- All electrical work, including lighting, wiring, testing, alarm systems, BMS, lighting systems, and heat exchangers.
- Evaluate and escalate any potential risks, with an assessment of impact, probable causes, and mitigation opportunities.
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement of safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with relevant QHSE policy and procedures.
- Trade trained with ideally 3 years' experience in building services.
- City & Guilds Qualified Electrical Level 3.
- Experience in critical site (data centre or banking sites).
- Good building services knowledge.
- Demonstrate a willingness to attend on and off-site training for plant and systems, which may require nights away from home.
