About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Panel Press Operator to join our Manufacturing Team at Marshall Land Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for manufacturing and detailing composite panels up to 9m in length to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aluminium cutting and fabrication
  • Plywood cutting and processing
  • Foam cutting and shaping
  • Panel laminating and assembly
  • Following written instructions and working to drawings
  • Working as part of a team and communicating with peers and managers
  • Using online booking systems for job tickets and working to budget
  • Assisting line supervision with apprentices and trainees
Capability

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Attention to detail and pride in work standards
  • Ability to communicate work progress to peers and managers
  • Able to build good team relationships and work collaboratively
  • Considerable experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or equivalent trade
  • Experience in composite panel manufacture and flexible approach to work
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5s techniques
  • Awareness of health and safety, fire, and environmental policies
