About the Role

As a key member of our Manufacturing Team, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and detailing of composite panels up to 9m in length to a high standard of quality.

You will be involved in various activities, including aluminium cutting, plywood cutting, foam cutting, panel laminating, assembly, and detailing of panels, following written instructions or working to drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing of panels/components as detailed in Land Systems work instructions, engineering drawings, work requests, and verbal instructions.
  • Certification of own work when applicable.
  • Working as part of a team and using online booking systems for job tickets.
  • Assisting line supervision in the supervision of Apprentices/Trainees when required.

Experience/Technical Competence:

  • Experience in Manufacturing/fabrication or equivalent trade is preferred but not essential.
  • The ability to read and understand Engineering drawings is required.
  • Experience in Composite panel manufacture is preferred.
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work.
  • Understanding and experience in Manufacturing and Assembly processes and techniques is preferred.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5s techniques.
  • Awareness of Health and Safety, Fire, and Environmental Policies.
