About the Role:
We are seeking a strong leader to support the registered manager in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. The role involves safeguarding and promoting the welfare and development of the individuals we care for, as well as overseeing the smooth transition of admissions into our care homes. The ideal candidate must have experience in trauma-informed care, positive behavior support, and team management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the registered manager in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Deputise in the absence of the R.M.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare and development of the individuals we care for.
- Ensure our care homes meet the individual needs of the residents and the team.
- Assist in the smooth transition of admissions into our care homes.
- Work towards positive outcomes for the individuals we care for.
- Monitor performance, manage the team, and conduct supervisions, probations, and appraisals.
Requirements:
A minimum of 1-year experience working as a deputy manager or a strong team leader. Must have a driving license, NVQ Level 3/4 in Health and Social Care, and be willing to work towards Level 5. Proficiency in English is required.
Desirable Skills:
Patience, resilience, passion for making a difference.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in leading teams to support individuals with autism, mental health, forensic background, and other challenges.
Compensation Package:
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
