Warehouse Operative Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at a busy logistics company based in Worcester.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks with incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Stocking inventory in designated areas
  • Utilizing a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory and locate items
  • Preparing orders for shipment by picking and packing items
  • Operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks
  • Performing general warehouse maintenance tasks, including cleaning and organizing work areas
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • FOLLOWING SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND MAINTAINING A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks
  • Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members

Working Hours: Monday-Friday and Sundays
