Job Title: Shift Manager - Production

Thrive Shepton is seeking an experienced Shift Manager to join our team in Wells. As a Shift Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production kitchen, upholding our company values, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of production staff to achieve production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure food safety.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and address operational issues.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory, and other operational metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in the food industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and tools, with experience in implementing process improvements.
