Company Overview:
Elevation Recruitment Group is collaborating with a prominent Manufacturer seeking to expand their team of Electrical Maintenance Engineers due to ongoing growth.

Salary:
£44,000 - £47,000

Location:
South Yorkshire

Shift Pattern:
4 on 4 off rotating schedule (2 days, 2 nights in each cycle)

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute routine planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and address equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Diagnose issues and apply Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to resolve them effectively.
- Replace components as necessary and ensure optimal equipment functionality.
- Conduct quality checks on completed tasks.
- Manage engineering inventory, ensuring accurate logging of parts against relevant assets/jobs.
- Respond to emergencies and unplanned repairs while assisting with installations.
- Identify and propose enhancements to health and safety protocols and practices.
- Work with specialized equipment, including programmable logic controllers (PLC) and servos that manage production machinery.
- Adhere to all site regulations, including safety, engineering, hygiene, and technical standards.
- Approach tasks with a mindset focused on Continuous Improvement.
- Perform assigned preventive maintenance duties.

Required Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ) or higher in Electrical Maintenance.
- Experience in Mechanical Maintenance is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
- Level 2 food safety certification or higher is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Previous experience with specialized equipment, such as PLCs and servos, is essential.
- Experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector is desirable.
