We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Leader in Games Design and Programming to join our dynamic and expanding Games Development Department at Staffordshire University London.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality teaching materials and programs in Games Design and Programming.
- Teach and assess students in a variety of settings, including lectures, tutorials, and workshops.
- Demonstrate techniques and best practices in Games Design and Programming to students and colleagues.
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and maintain subject proficiency through research, training, and networking.
- Contribute to recruitment and outreach activities, including open days, to promote the university and its programs.
- Participate in or contribute towards research or scholarship in Games Design and Programming, aligned with the university's research strategy.
- Liaise with industry partners and stakeholders to ensure the relevance and quality of our programs.
We are one of the largest Games Development Departments in the world, with an impressive international reputation for the excellence of our taught provision. Our department has a large and skilled team, with over 70 academics across two campuses, covering all technical aspects of Games Production, split across Art, Design, and Technology subject areas.
