Job Title: Clinical Lead Children's Physiotherapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Children's Physiotherapist to join our team at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dedicated physiotherapist to lead our pediatric physiotherapy services. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people with a range of physical disabilities and conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the pediatric physiotherapy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people.
  2. Develop and implement evidence-based physiotherapy programs to improve outcomes for children and young people with physical disabilities and conditions.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure best practice in pediatric physiotherapy.
  5. Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists to ensure their professional development and competence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a physiotherapist.Postgraduate qualification in pediatric physiotherapy or equivalent experience.Proven experience of leading a multidisciplinary team and developing and implementing evidence-based physiotherapy programs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.

We are committed to safeguarding adults and children, and the successful candidate will be subject to a criminal records check with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate through salary deduction.

DBS charges are as follows: £18 + Administration cost of £3.
