Highway Maintenance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key part of the highway maintenance service within Kent County Council covering the Dartford and Gravesham area based at our Swanley office.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate faults and arrange maintenance solutions with our contractor.
- Provide a front-line service dealing with customers reporting faults on our highway network.
- Work closely with Dartford and Gravesham Borough Councils, Parish Councils, and other local groups to deliver a high-quality maintenance service.
- React to emergency situations working alongside emergency services and other bodies to provide support and engineering measures where needed.
- A full UK Driving Licence is required.
- Ability to work in a customer-facing role.
A livered KCC vehicle will be provided to carry out inspections of the area.
