Radis Community Care is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for a Support Worker within our Supported Living Service.
Position Overview
Our Supported Living Service is dedicated to providing care for three ladies with Learning Disabilities. These individuals engage in a variety of activities, social events, and outings, while also pursuing their personal interests. We are seeking compassionate and attentive individuals to assist these young adults in making the most of each day. A female Support Worker is preferred to meet the specific needs of the ladies.
The responsibilities of this role may encompass manual handling, administering medication, providing personal care, preparing meals, performing household tasks, and facilitating connections with family and friends. Additionally, the Support Worker will help individuals access community resources and attend appointments. We focus on enhancing daily living skills and fostering social interactions.
At Radis, we value each person as a unique individual and strive to deliver a personalized service that is centered around their specific needs. The primary goal of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect through the highest standards of support.
Working Hours: The position involves split shifts from 7 am to 10 pm, including alternate weekends, totaling 22.5 hours per week.
While a qualification in health and social care is desirable, it is not mandatory. Experience in supported living environments or working with individuals with Learning Disabilities is advantageous.
