As a key member of our Children and Young Person's Emergency Department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our young patients and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and develop care plans for individual children and young people, ensuring their needs are met and their families are supported.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care, including administering medications, performing clinical procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to policy development, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of paediatric care.
- Registered Nurse Child Branch with a Diploma or Degree in Paediatric Nursing.
- Minimum 6 months post-registration experience, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Enhanced CRB clearance and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
