Paediatric Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Emergency Department Staff Nurse to join our dynamic team at Nottingham University Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and young people in our emergency department.
Main Responsibilities- Assess and develop care plans for individual children and young people, working closely with medical and nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards, maintaining a high level of clinical competence.
- Report to medical and/or senior nursing staff on the condition and progress of children and young people, providing accurate and timely information.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care.

Requirements- Registered Nurse - Child Branch, with a Diploma or Degree in Paediatric Nursing.
- Minimum of 6 months post-registration experience, with a strong background in paediatric emergency care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
