Paediatric Emergency Department Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Children and Young Person's Emergency Department at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Assess the care needs of children and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement and evaluate nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with established policies and standards.
- Communicate effectively with medical and senior nursing staff to report on the condition and progress of children.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in pediatric care and treatment to ensure competent and efficient delivery of care.
- Registered nurse with a child branch qualification (Diploma or Degree in Paediatric Nursing).
- Ability to administer oral and intravenous medications.
- Minimum of 6 months post-registration experience.
- Supervision of non-registered staff and students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
