Emergency Department Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our dynamic Emergency Department team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-performing department that has achieved an OUTSTANDING rating from the CQC. As a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing expert leadership and guidance to our nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team
- Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Supporting the development of junior staff members
We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in Emergency Nursing, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to teaching and facilitating training. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in Emergency Nursing at Band 6 or 7
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- A commitment to teaching and facilitating training
- Knowledge of current developments in nursing practice and the ability to translate these into quality A&E nursing care
