We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator to join our Buying Department at Home Bargains. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage administrative duties and provide exceptional support to the Buying function, including responding to supplier and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure accurate and efficient booking of goods into our warehouse system, maintaining high levels of data integrity and accuracy.
- Liaise with suppliers to guarantee timely deliveries and stock availability, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Set up new products and suppliers within our systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our operations.
- Generate and process orders, monitoring sales and shipment trends to inform future purchasing decisions and drive business growth.
- Assist with competitor and market analysis under the guidance of a Buyer, providing valuable insights to inform our procurement strategies.
- Communicate effectively with the Goods-in department and warehouse team to resolve stock queries and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- A solid understanding of customer service principles and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Proficiency with basic computer software, including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks, with a focus on maintaining high levels of data integrity and quality.
