About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Audiology Services as the Head of Audiology Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the management and development of our diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing and balance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop multi-disciplinary diagnostic and rehabilitative hearing and balance services for paediatrics, adults, and those with complex needs.
  • Provide clinical leadership and management of Hearing and Balance Services portfolio, including employed staff.
  • Support the long-term planning and ongoing development of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services.
  • Provide advanced clinical, scientific, and technical input to complex patients within a sub-specialist area of Audiological expertise.
  • Stay up-to-date with national and international developments in Audiological Science to ensure the department remains at the forefront of Audiology service provision.
Requirements
  • MSc. in Audiological Sciences.
  • Current HCPC statutory registration as Clinical Scientist (Audiology).
  • Successfully attained the Scientist Training Programme (or equivalent, CAC, HTS).
  • Evidence of active continual professional development (CPD) in accordance with statutory registration body.
  • Relevant post-graduate Healthcare Management/Leadership Qualifications.
