Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit and document data and analytics requirements.
- Understand the organization's business processes, objectives, and challenges to identify opportunities for data-driven solutions.
- Translate business needs into clear and actionable data and technical requirements.
- Analyze existing data sources to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and potential areas for improvement.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to validate the suitability of data for meeting business requirements.
- Develop a deep understanding of the data landscape and its relevance to business goals.
- Work with technical teams to design data solutions that align with business objectives, considering data modelling, integration, and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to design solutions that deliver actionable insights.
- Provide input into the selection of appropriate tools, technologies, and methodologies for data projects.
- Create comprehensive documentation of business and data requirements, data flows, and process workflows.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, translating business needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
- Presents findings, insights, and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
- Participate in project planning, prioritization, and timeline management for data related initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between business and technical teams throughout the project life cycle.
- Monitor project progress, identifies risks, and proactively addresses issues that may impact project success.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data analytics and business intelligence.
- Provide input to refine and enhance existing processes, methodologies, and frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure that scheduled and maintenance tasks are performed on time and accurately.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from internal and external customers.
- Monitor data inputs and outputs for quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in delivery, release management, or related roles.
- Familiarity with data development life cycles (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools, issue tracking systems, and collaboration platforms.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in coordinating data deployments, managing client relationships, or customer support is advantageous.
