Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

At CV Library, we're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer Apprentice to join our team. As a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the daily reporting of breakdowns and PPM activities
  • Prioritize repair work and plan machine performance
  • Work with the Planning Department to negotiate machine availability
  • Monitor failure and provide technical support for production when required
  • Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping, adopting a clean-as-you-go policy
Key Areas of the Role:
  • Carrying out engineering activities
  • Minimizing engineering downtime
  • Maintaining GMP and safety standards within the Engineering Department
  • Implementing and ensuring compliance of engineering processes within the team
  • Ensuring the highest engineering audit standards at all times
  • Ensuring Engineering skills and knowledge are maintained at the highest level
Requirements:
  • Relevant engineering qualification
  • Able to prove competency in all forms of isolation, electrical safety, and safe panel entry
  • Experience of FMCG operations
  • PC literate (able to use computer-based maintenance systems)
  • Able to strip machines in full and reassemble them, as well as completing machine size change procedures and their adjustments

  • Salary: £46,920 per annum
  • Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am till 6pm and 6pm till 6am (rotating shifts)
