Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Materials Handling Equipment Engineer to join our team at Carrylift, a proud member of the Corp. As an Apprentice Forklift Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop your knowledge and skills in materials handling equipment maintenance, fault finding, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of materials handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and repair equipment faults.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation and efficient warehouse processes.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of mechanical knowledge (preferred)
  • Strong technical awareness and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
