About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Play Leader to join our team at Let's Play. As a Play Leader, you will be responsible for leading a variety of fun-filled activities at our Fun Week programme in the school holidays at Stratford Park Leisure Centre, Stroud.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver activities to a high standard, catering for all children of mixed ability, aged between 5 and 12 years of age.
  • Follow our timetable and ensure sessions are challenging, realistic, and fun for primary-aged children.
  • Manage and motivate your team to ensure they are delivering the programme to a high standard.
  • Liaise with parents/carers, the staffing team, and the Directors regularly.
  • Create a positive learning environment for the children in our care.
  • Deliver the coaching programme to a high standard consistently.
  • Follow our coaching philosophy, ensuring everything we deliver is: Fun, Inclusive & Educational.
Requirements
  • Has a keen interest and passion in working with and facilitating fun games for primary-aged children.
  • Has experience working at children's holiday camps and/or a childcare setting.
  • Demonstrates willingness to develop their skills and general practice.
  • Punctual, Reliable & Committed.
  • Has experience in delivering activities to primary-aged children.
  • Strong communication & organisational skills.
  • Able to interact well with staff, parents/carers, and children.
