This role is ideal for a versatile professional with a background in finance-related positions such as Accounts Coordinator, Finance Associate, or Bookkeeper, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

The successful candidate will possess experience in:

  • Double-entry bookkeeping
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Financial reporting (monthly and annually)
  • Providing support for audit processes

This position requires full-time presence in the office, with the possibility of remote work after a probationary period, contingent upon successful training in the company's ERP and finance system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of supplier and customer statements
  • Preparation of payment runs, both ad-hoc and regular
  • Management of cash flow and reconciliation of bank balances and reports
  • Execution of monthly accounting routines, including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, fixed asset journals, VAT, and Intrastat returns
  • Production of variance analysis comparing actual results to budget targets
  • Assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts and board packs
  • Support for internal and external audit processes
  • General ledger maintenance through double-entry bookkeeping
  • Data entry and report creation using Excel, including formulas and analysis

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified or pursuing qualification, with a solid understanding of manufacturing accounting principles, including work in progress (WIP), cost of goods sold (COGS), bill of materials (BOMs), and goods received not invoiced (GRNI). Strong Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas and VLOOKUP, are essential.
