Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food and beverage presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness in a safe environment.
  • Stay informed about Health & Safety regulations, actively implementing and reviewing procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet usage and profitability targets for catering services, contributing innovative ideas to enhance service delivery.
  • Supervise a team of Food & Beverage assistants, ensuring effective operations.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages as required.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels for the efficient and safe operation of the café/bar.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food and beverages to maintain stock.
  • Support special events as needed and undertake various duties to facilitate the overall functioning of the facility.
  • Perform additional responsibilities aligned with the role to support Exeter's community-focused initiative 'Exeter Live Better.'
