About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Engagement Executive to join our team at Stagecoach Group. As a key member of our Commercial & Marketing team, you will be responsible for supporting marketing activity through proactive engagement with internal and external business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive PR plan to promote the company's brand and reputation.
- Respond to media enquiries, including writing, clearing, and issuing statements and press releases.
- Plan and execute stakeholder events to build relationships and promote the company's interests.
- Write proactive and reactive press releases to communicate key messages and news.
- Brief and prepare colleagues for media interviews and advise on communications issues.
- Support the Commercial & Marketing team on customer growth plans and initiatives.
- Assist with the development and delivery of the Customer Value strategy.
- Work collaboratively across departments to ensure timely proactive communications.
- Develop an internal communication plan to engage with employees and promote company initiatives.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and promote a positive culture.
- Proven experience working and building relationships with stakeholders within the media.
- Ability to understand complex issues and translate them into effective, engaging communications.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Passion for the company's mission and values.
