About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Solutions Architect to join our team at Michael Page Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in integrating our financing platform into our client's environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead client engagement and implementation as the primary technical interface.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Designers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, the Change team, and ICT Leadership to design, specify, and oversee the integration delivery.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the architecture strategy to clarify the future state of our application, data, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Ensure our client's infrastructure and application can scale easily and cope with high volumes with zero downtime.
  • Develop a global-local model to support our global expansion.
Requirements
  • Experience in prototyping and demonstrating potential solution outcomes.
  • Proven experience in designing pragmatic solutions to solve real-world problems.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering quality systems applications.
  • Proven track record of working in a high-volume environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational database and NoSQL database.
  • Computer science degree or equivalent level qualification.
  • Knowledge of, or experience working within, an ISO 27001 accredited organization and awareness of information security requirements.
  • In-depth experience of integrating systems to deliver an end-to-end solution.
  • Full understanding and practical experience of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies (PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall).
  • Cloud Accreditation (AWS or Azure Solution Architect) or relevant cloud experience.
Desirable Skills
  • Web and mobile customer-facing application.
  • Comprehensive database and SQL skills.
  • Willingness to step outside of current knowledge to learn new techniques and technologies.
  • Diagramming techniques (swim lanes, flow charts, process maps, and system diagrams).

  • Literate and numerate with strong written and oral communication skills.
