Job Title: Handyman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team at First Military Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a wide range of maintenance and repair services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Handyman will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to buildings and equipment
  • Providing support to the Estates Department in the maintenance and upkeep of school facilities
  • Liaising with external contractors and suppliers to ensure that work is completed to a high standard
  • Assisting with the management of waste and grounds maintenance
  • Providing a high-quality, courteous, and friendly service to internal and external customers
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Carrying out routine maintenance and repairs to buildings and equipment

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current full driving licence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, and transport goods around the site
