Job Summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyman/Handyperson to join our client's on-site maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the end-clients' facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address any issues.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
  • Paint, patch, and repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
  • Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Handyman/Handyperson or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
