Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Study Director to join our growing DART department at our site in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. As a Study Director, you will be responsible for organizing, running, and reporting studies of various types and complexity, providing an exciting opportunity for someone looking for stability, variety, and a structured career progression path.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and proper action on all aspects of the study plans for studies assigned.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day organization, analysis, and reporting of various studies.
  • Attend and, where appropriate, assist in key elements of the work of assigned studies including monitoring progress and status.
  • Develop protocols and ensure that the protocol, including any changes, is approved and is in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines.
  • Direct preparation of reports, interpreting results, ensuring compliance with the protocol and regulatory requirements, and submitting results to the client.
  • Participate in study-specific client visits as required.
Requirements
  • BSc minimum, preferably in life science (MSc/PhD preferred) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of DART study design and conduct in adherence to regulatory guidance and GLP standards.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in performing a number and/or complexity of DART studies along with study design and conduct in adherence to regulatory guidance.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in planning, negotiation, and process innovation.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all staff and management levels.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
