As an accomplished Operations Manager, your role will involve supporting the Store Manager while overseeing all inventory and operational procedures within the stockroom, warehouse, security, and administrative areas. You will motivate and guide your team to excel, aiming to enhance sales, streamline processes, and meet performance benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
To excel as an Operations Manager, you will:
Assist the Store Manager in providing direction and motivating your team to achieve their highest potential, stepping in to manage the store as required. Foster a culture centered on exceptional service, achieving performance goals, and maintaining precise inventory processes within a commercially viable and operationally sound environment. Support the Store Manager by ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards in your areas of responsibility. Exhibit confidence in managing disciplinary and grievance matters when necessary. Understand and manage labor control expectations to ensure efficient store operations. Take a proactive role in all operational and commercial tasks by collaborating closely with your team. Demonstrate resilience during transitions and welcome constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement. Ensure security personnel are effectively utilized and that all company security protocols are strictly followed. Experienced in leading and mentoring a high-performing team, you handle personnel issues effectively. A proficient multitasker, you can plan, organize, and prioritize your responsibilities efficiently. You are flexible with your working hours and willing to work reasonable additional hours, including some public holidays and weekends, in alignment with business needs.In accordance with Home Office guidance, successful candidates will need to demonstrate their right to work in the UK prior to starting employment.
This position is not typically eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route due to relevant Home Office skill level requirements not being met. Candidates are encouraged to explore their own right to work options without sponsorship from NEXT.
