Role Overview:

As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will take charge of the daily management of activities related to Raw Materials across our operational sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the shift team to ensure efficient execution of time-sensitive tasks including materials stock call-off, goods receipt, storage, issuance, packing, and distribution in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Overseeing critical routines such as Inventory Cycle Counting and Blisters Inventory, while also facilitating training for team members.
  • Monitoring and enhancing team performance through effective motivation and development strategies, ensuring all training is documented and managed within our electronic control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute the Inventory Cycle Count process for all Raw Materials and Engineering Warehouses, ensuring accuracy and integrity of inventory, particularly for high-value items.
  • Regularly assess Blisters inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock for production needs.
  • Compile and disseminate the Warehouse Key Success Indicator (KSI) Report daily, ensuring departmental targets align with company standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive daily checklists to ensure safety and quality compliance, reporting any discrepancies to the Warehouse Operations Leader.

Work Environment:

  • Work will involve both indoor and outdoor settings, including cold storage areas and loading zones.
  • Indoor tasks will require significant computer usage.
  • Driving company delivery vehicles and handling hazardous materials will be part of the role.
  • Safe operation of manual handling equipment, including fork-lift trucks, is essential.
  • Compliance with designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements is mandatory.
  • 12-hour shift work is expected.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and Quality standards, alongside experience in warehouse operations and inventory management systems.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a similar operational environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a manufacturing or support context, ideally with formal training.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS and Quality standards.
  • Good educational background.
  • Proficiency in relevant IT systems, including Microsoft Office.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Warehouse and Inventory management processes.
