Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will serve as a liaison between NWSSP Local Procurement and our clients, assisting in representing the procurement function at various organizational levels. This role involves communicating the status and priorities of category work plans across Health Boards and Trusts, necessitating collaboration with user departments and NWSSP at all levels to integrate procurement considerations into partner organizations' business strategies at the earliest stage.

The individual will support the Category Manager in delivering a professional procurement service to the Health Board/Trust, contributing to the development and realization of the NWSSP Business plan. Additionally, the role includes assisting the Category Manager with procurement-related issues and key projects.

Proficiency in the Welsh language is preferred for this position; applications are welcome from both Welsh and English speakers.

  • CIPS Level 4 (Diploma) or equivalent knowledge

  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects concurrently, with the ability to effectively plan, meet tight deadlines, and balance complex stakeholder requirements.
