This is a high-profile role within a leading global beauty brand, responsible for leading the go-to-market strategy, pricing, brand execution, and managing the full P&L for the UK market.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly ambitious and commercially driven individual to join our team as a Retail Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive growth in the UK market, working closely with the marketing team to deliver impactful local marketing campaigns and media activations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive growth in the UK market
  • Manage the full P&L for the UK market, including pricing, brand execution, and sales
  • Work closely with the marketing team to deliver impactful local marketing campaigns and media activations
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major UK beauty and skincare retailers
  • Provide commercial and analytical support to the business, including market research and competitor analysis

About You

We are looking for a high-calibre, ambitious, and commercially driven individual with a strong background in retail and a passion for skincare and beauty. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the UK skincare market and trade marketing tactics, as well as experience working with major UK beauty and skincare retailers.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a retail or commercial role, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment
  • Strong commercial awareness, acumen, and negotiation skills
  • Structured and analytical, comfortable working with data
  • Memorable, positive, professional, and enthusiastic presence
  • Strong experience working with major UK beauty and skincare retailers
  • A passion for skincare and beauty with a deep understanding of the UK skincare market and trade marketing tactics
