Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform a wide array of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures, encompassing both elective and emergency cases.
  • Provide seamless coverage for colleagues during periods of absence, ensuring uninterrupted patient care.
  • Actively participate in rigorous audit activities to enhance the quality and effectiveness of our surgical practices.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • Embrace a collaborative approach, fulfilling any other relevant responsibilities as required to support the smooth functioning of the department.
  • Travel to peripheral units as needed to extend our surgical services to a wider patient base.
Qualifications and Experience:

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • A BDS or equivalent primary dental qualification.
  • Full registration with the UK General Dental Council.

The ideal candidate will also have:

  • Three years of postgraduate training in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in performing oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures.
  • Proven expertise in dento-alveolar surgery and trauma management.
