South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks to appoint a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with a special interest in Orthognathic surgery, with the potential for development of further sub-speciality interests such as skin cancer, facial aesthetics or TMJ surgery.
James Cook University Hospital is a major trauma centre covering East Cleveland, Tees Valley and North Yorkshire served by the Great North Air Ambulance Service and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.. We are closely linked with on-site ENT, plastics and ophthalmology services. We also provide out-patient oral and maxillofacial services in North Tees, Darlington and Friarage Hospitals on a hub and spoke basis, with the potential for considerable expansion of services such as surgical dermatology and dento-alveolar in peripheral units.
