Job Title: Facility Maintenance Leader

This is a key position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our refrigeration case maintenance program across multiple site locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Represent the company in a professional and competent manner at all times, developing strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
  2. Ensure refrigeration case maintenance schedules are completed within agreed timescales, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  3. Coordinate the activities of the case maintenance team, ensuring efficient and cost-effective work practices.
  4. De-merchandise and re-merchandise refrigeration units, utilizing chemicals as necessary.
  5. Notify the company helpdesk of procedural task conditions for action by the refrigeration engineer.
  6. Ensure sign-off of completed works by the client, maintaining high standards of quality.
  7. Work with the company and client to ensure laid-down standards of quality are maintained at all times.
  8. Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the company, supporting the achievement of company KPIs.
  9. Ensure all systems are working to optimum energy efficiency, supporting the company's sustainability goals.
  10. When required, support other engineering disciplines to provide flexibility to service delivery.
  11. Ensure the maintenance of equipment and vehicle to ensure it is fit for purpose.
  12. Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the company's Health and Safety Policy at all times.
  13. Attend training courses as necessary, ensuring personal job skills keep pace with technical and business developments.

People Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the Case Maintenance Technician, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Retail experience is desirable, but not essential.
  2. Cleaning or maintenance industry experience is also desirable.
  3. Good communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  4. Achievement of maintenance program within agreed timescales is critical.
  5. Speed and efficiency of work are essential, as is a helpful and friendly manner.
  6. Customer focus is vital, as is self-motivation and planning/organizing skills.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability are also essential, as is the willingness to work night shifts.
  8. A full driving license is required, as is the ability to maintain the company's Health and Safety policy.
