About the Role

As a Peripatetic Nurse at Barchester Healthcare, you will travel across your region to deliver high-quality clinical care. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that on each shift, at every location, our residents receive the highest level of care. Your responsibilities will include ensuring new residents settle in smoothly, helping advance your team members' skills, and developing care plans tailored to our residents' physical and mental needs. As a Peripatetic Nurse, you will have the freedom and autonomy to do things the right way and be truly valued and respected for your work.
About You
To join us as a Peripatetic Nurse, you will need to be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration and a teaching, mentoring, or supervision qualification. A strong, up-to-date clinical knowledge is essential, as is a good understanding of key regulatory frameworks, including the safe administration of medicines, Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines, and NMC standards. We will also look for a successful track record of producing care plans and detailed risk assessments. You will be a dedicated and ambitious individual who can lead by example, with excellent communication skills that will motivate the teams in each Barchester care home you work with.
