This is an exciting opportunity to join West London NHS Trust as a Matron in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Service for Hounslow, Ealing, and Hammersmith & Fulham.

About the Role

As a Matron, you will be responsible for providing specialist DBT to young people aged 12-18 who present with persistent self-harm and suicidal behaviour. You will work closely with the team to assess, treat, and provide training and consultation to colleagues. Your expertise will be essential in shaping the service and contributing to its development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist DBT to young people and their families
  • Contribute to service evaluation, policy development, and research in the area of self-harm and emotional dysregulation
  • Provide clinical supervision, teaching, and consultation to colleagues
  • Manage your own caseload and provide specialist DBT interventions for young people
  • Work in partnership with schools, social services, and other local services to support integrated practice and service delivery

Requirements
  • Post-graduate training in systemic family therapy as accredited by IFT or AFT

  • Experience of working with children and adolescents in a mental health or equivalent setting
  • Experience of teaching, supervision, and/or consultation
  • Experience of research and audit
