Salary:
Up to £31,153.60 per annum (including potential sleep-in payments)
Working Hours:
Full-time, Fixed Term (40 hours per week)
Key Requirements:
- A valid UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle
- Eligibility to work in the UK
Role Responsibilities:
As a Lead Care Specialist, you will:
- Oversee and mentor residential care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care for our young individuals.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each young person's needs.
- Coordinate daily activities within the residential setting, including meal times, recreational events, and bedtime routines.
- Serve as a primary contact for young individuals and their families, fostering open communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the well-being and progress of the young individuals, documenting observations and addressing any concerns with the appropriate authorities.
Essential Qualifications:
- Level 3 or Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent NVQ
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a residential care setting
- A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of young individuals.
- Demonstrated patience, resilience, and a calm demeanor.
