About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children in Care Team, dedicated to providing quality services to children in care and their families. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children, developing and implementing plans to address their needs, and working with multi-agency networks to ensure the best possible outcomes.

This is a challenging but rewarding role, requiring a high level of skill and expertise in social work practice. You will need to be able to work effectively with children, families, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

About You:
  • You will have a Social Work qualification and prior experience of working with children in care.
  • You will have a working knowledge of the legislation that governs work with children, including the Children's Act 1989 as amended, the Children's Act 2002, the Care Act 2014, and the Children and Families Act 2014.
  • You will be able to communicate effectively with children, families, and other professionals, both verbally and in writing.
  • You will be able to work effectively in a multi-agency setting, navigating complex systems and processes.
