Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at RTL Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a civil and infrastructure package in Essex.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with the client and main contractor on site to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all activities comply with the requirements of the NEC contract.
  • Supervise site operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed programs to track project progress.
  • Hold regular progress meetings to discuss project status and address any concerns.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of works from start to finish.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and main contractor.
  • Review and amend RAMS to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver regular toolbox talks relevant to works being undertaken.
  • Implement and maintain safety procedures, conducting regular safety audits and inspections.
  • Manage and allocate resources, including labour, plant, and materials, to optimize project efficiency.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress and activities.
Requirements:
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • NVQ level 6.
  • Black CSCS.
  • SMSTS.
  • IT literate.
  • Previous experience working under NEC contracts.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a project management position, with a strong background in highways, civils, and groundwork. Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, and Adobe is also required. A full UK driving license is essential.
