About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Collections and Network Driver to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of mail and packages to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport mail and packages
  • Collect mail and packages from post offices and other locations
  • Sort and process mail and packages at our processing centres
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.54
  • Overtime at 1.25x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)
