Chubb Fire & Security is seeking a highly skilled and experienced sales leader to join our team as a Digital Sales Team Leader. This is a key leadership role that will involve implementing and managing our Global Sales Academy for APi international, reporting directly into the Chief Commercial Officer.
This is a global role, and occasional overseas travel will be required. While our head office is based in Staines, we are open to talented candidates outside of this location.
As a sales leader, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with sales and HR/TA in all geographical markets to attract, onboard, and train highly effective sales managers and salespeople.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that sales managers are trained to coach their salespeople
- Determining sales training requirements and overseeing the creation and execution of sales training strategies
- Establishing procedures for assessing the quality of training and making high-level changes if standards are not met or further skill or knowledge gaps are identified
- Identifying and implementing the appropriate technology and tools to support the training programs and facilitate learning and development for sales teams
- Leading, managing, and mentoring sales trainers (employees and/or consultants) and other sales campus employees
- Providing 1:1 coaching of employees to improve competencies and build an environment of trust, promoting a winning culture
- Meeting sales training financial objectives by forecasting sales training requirements
- Maintaining accurate sales training records in the company Learning Management System (Workday Learning)
- Providing monthly/quarterly/annual sales training information demonstrating return on investment
The ideal candidate will be a sales leader or sales trainer looking to progress in an international business. Key leadership qualities for success in the role will include:
- Highly results and commercially driven, wanting to set the bar high and drive performance with a laser focus on discipline
- Tactically excellent to execute a sales training plan, with the ability to operate strategically and not afraid to make bold but balanced decisions
