CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CNC Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our manufacturing client in Pocklington. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a thriving manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC Press Brakes, primarily AMADA machines
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to determine product measurements
  • Cut and bend materials according to specifications
  • Perform quality checks to ensure correct size and shape of finished pieces
  • Work with various materials including Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel
  • Interpret drawings and check parts to meet company standards
  • Work from Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Carry out general maintenance of machines
  • Monitor material levels and inform Workshop Manager when supplies are low
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience setting and operating CNC Press Brakes (AMADA or similar)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use measurement tools
  • Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment
  • Relevant certifications in press machine operation or metal work (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
