Manpower UK Ltd is actively seeking a proficient CNC Brake Press Technician to become a vital part of our esteemed manufacturing partner. This role presents a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned expert to make a significant impact within a dynamic production setting.
Position Overview:
Job Title: CNC Brake Press Technician
Location: Pocklington, YO42 area
Contract Type: Permanent
Compensation: £27,000 per annum
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and operate CNC Brake Presses, with a focus on AMADA machinery.
- Interpret and analyze technical schematics to ascertain product dimensions.
- Cut and shape materials in accordance with precise specifications.
- Conduct quality assessments to verify the accuracy of finished components.
- Work with a variety of materials, including Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel.
- Review drawings and inspect parts to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Utilize Bills of Materials (BOM) effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
- Monitor material inventory and notify the Workshop Manager of low supplies.
Candidate Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in setting and operating CNC Brake Presses (AMADA or equivalent).
- Proficient in reading technical drawings and utilizing measurement instruments.
- Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems.
- Relevant certifications in press machine operation or metalworking are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
