Position Overview:


Job Title: CNC Brake Press Technician


Location: Pocklington, YO42 area


Contract Type: Permanent


Compensation: £27,000 per annum


Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and operate CNC Brake Presses, with a focus on AMADA machinery.
  • Interpret and analyze technical schematics to ascertain product dimensions.
  • Cut and shape materials in accordance with precise specifications.
  • Conduct quality assessments to verify the accuracy of finished components.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including Mild Steel, Aluminium, and Stainless Steel.
  • Review drawings and inspect parts to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Utilize Bills of Materials (BOM) effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
  • Monitor material inventory and notify the Workshop Manager of low supplies.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in setting and operating CNC Brake Presses (AMADA or equivalent).
  • Proficient in reading technical drawings and utilizing measurement instruments.
  • Experience with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems.
  • Relevant certifications in press machine operation or metalworking are preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
